Joanne Yvonne Cucarese
Joanne was born in Mingo Junction Ohio on January 20, 1938. She was raised by Frank Yatsko, and Mary Takach. She graduated from high school in 1955 then married Robert A Cucarese on July 8, 1955. She is survived by her children Devon Cucarese, and John Cucarese. Joanne was Dallas' first female ambulance rider. (today known as EMT) In the 1970's she helped out at Montclair Elementary school, also a soccer den mother to provide needed nourishment for the team. Her last employment was taking care of bed bound persons overnight in their homes.
Joanne was a homemaker for the majority of her life. Enjoyed cooking for her family, playing her Hammond organ, listening to many forms of music including classical, folk, country and western music. She very seldom left the home, and was always there for her family, and others when they needed her. When other parents needed advice, or help with their children she mended many a wound, or helped people with illness.
Joanne was a second mother to many people in the neighborhood, and beyond when they needed advice, help, or food. Many times she provided friends with food, money, clothing, and even household items.
She passed at Presbyterian hospital on March 15, 2024.
